Para quienes no los conocen, Shinedown es una banda estadounidense de Hard rock y Post grunge, integrada en Jacksonville, Florida, en el 2001.

Hasta el momento, la banda ha publicado cinco discos que incluyen canciones tan exitosas como «45», «Heroes», «Save Me», «Devour», «Sound of Madness», «Second Chance», » The Crow & the Butterfly, «If You Only Knew», «Diamond Eyes (Boom Lay Boom Lay Boom)», «Bully», «Enemies», «I’ll Follow You», «Cut the Cord» y «State of My Head».
 
Shinedown es un grupo que se ha ganado un lugar como líderes del movimiento de hard rock contemporáneo logrando vender más de 12 millones de álbumes en todo el mundo.

En el año 2015, Shinedown empezó a estrenar en vivo algunos de los temas incluidos en el sucesor de su álbum ‘Amaryllis’.

El 13 de julio de 2015, la banda presentó el vivo la canción ‘Asking For It’ quer los trae a El Gallo de Radioacktiva como banda protagonista.
